Bookkeeper and Office Manager
The position of Bookkeeper and Office Manager is an extremely varied role where you will be given exposure to all aspects of the business while becoming a valued member of highly successful team. The role is based in our office in Duddingston Park South, Edinburgh. Flexibility can be given when setting working hours to accommodate the successful candidate.
Location: Edinburgh, UK
Contract Type: Part Time – 16 Hours per Week
Salary: £28,000 (pro rata)
Key Responsibilities
Finance

Reporting to the Managing Director

Processing sales and purchase invoices

Issuing account statements and remittance advices

Assisting with month-end and reporting

Assisting with weekly payment runs

Processing expenses and time sheets

Managing petty cash
-
Bank & cash reconciliations
-
Credit control
Administration

Reporting to Project Managers

Booking travel and accommodation

Answering incoming calls
-
Maintaining HR records
-
Booking crew & freelance contractors

General office administration
Qualifications and Experience
Essential
-
Experience with Sage Accounting software is essential

Bookkeeping/Administration experience
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Excellent attention to detail is essential to this role

Competent with Microsoft Office applications.
Desirable
-
To hold a health and safety qualification
-
Knowledge of current HR legislation.

Experience with Project Management Software
